August 18th
It's a little warm today so decided to take a break in the yard with the dogs. This frog has taken up residence in the pond and he decided to pose niceley for me today! I don't have a telephoto lens, so I have to get up close and this time he decided to cooperate. Ok.... I'll get back to work.

Finally there are new beads on the Bead page!! New stuff on etsy and ebay too!
I've received numerous emails from people asking "where have you been?" Well, the answer is home! The first 6 months of the year were super busy, lots of shows and classes. So I've just been home trying to get caught up! Working on building up a little inventory, making the Bead and Button Magazine Anniversary Beads and working in the yard. We had a hail storm last summer so had to have new siding and roof put on the house this spring, which meant we had to tear off the old screen porch. So I spent a few weeks building a new one. Pictures below!
Thought I'd throw in a one of the pond and one corner of the backyard.
I didn't make it to the Gathering this year, hopefully next year! And, believe it or not, I only have a couple small local shows between now and Tucson! I just decided it was a good year to stay home, come up with some new stuff and get geared up for 2009. Which means I have to get on the stick and keep up my website, etsy and ebay! So check back often, I promise there will be more to see than there has been the first 8 months of this year!
I'm very thrilled and excited to have been asked to make the 15th Anniversary Bead for Bead and Button Magazine!! It will be available through Bead and Button late this fall.
